According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, sometime between 2:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on May 10, a burglary occurred at a residence on E. Monroe Street in Mt. Pleasant. Reported missing were numerous items of fishing equipment as well as a 6-week old Blue Pit Bull puppy named “Bosssco”. On May 11, the puppy was located across town. As a result of the investigation, the stolen equipment and other items were allegedly found in the possession of Lacey Woodsmall of Mt. Pleasant. The puppy was found next to her property.
