When the City Council meets in regular session tonight it will consider a resolution to award a contract for the Church Street Reconstruction Project.

The project includes complete sidewalk replacement and continues the stamped brick inserts. A new water main will be installed along with a new sanitary sewer. The Ottumwa Water Works Department has agreed to pay the cost of the water main installation.
A total of three bids were received for the project with the low bid of more than 680-thousand dollars submitted by Fye Excavating Incorporated of Sperry, Iowa.
