Ottumwa, IA – The Kiwanis Clubs of Ottumwa are pleased to announce a record-breaking donation to the Ottumwa Library.
Ticket sales from the Ottumwa Morning and Hy-Noon Kiwanis 2014 Pork BBQ Dinner hit an all-time high. The Ottumwa Morning Kiwanis and the Ottumwa Hy-Noon Kiwanis are pleased to announce a $4,500 donation will be made to the Ottumwa Public Library to support children’s programming and services on Thursday, October 16th at 10:00 am at the Ottumwa Public Library. Receiving will be Sonja Ferrell, Director of the Ottumwa Public Library.
“This year’s event went better than we could have expected” said Garrett Ross, president of the Ottumwa Morning Kiwanis. The success of this event was made possible through the generous support of individuals in and around the Ottumwa area who purchased tickets and participated in the Kiwanis Pork BBQ Dinner in Ottumwa’s Central Park on August 8th. The Ottumwa Kiwanis Clubs would also like to thank South Ottumwa Savings Bank for the generous support of this event and being an integral part of its success.
