Iowa Baseball at Creighton Cancelled

The Iowa baseball team’s scheduled Wednesday evening game at Creighton has been cancelled due to rain in Omaha.  The contest is not expected to be made up.

The game was to have been played at Omaha’s TD Ameritrade Park, which in addition to being Creighton’s home stadium, is also home to the College World Series each June.

The Hawkeyes return to action Friday, hosting South Dakota State for a three-game series at Duane Banks Field. The series opener will begin at 6 p.m., followed by 4 p.m. and 1 p.m. starts Saturday and Sunday.
