OTTUMWA — The Indian Hills Community College Film Festival will feature a showing of Billy Crystal’s film “700 Sundays” on Monday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in St. John Auditorium on the Ottumwa campus. The public is invited and admission is free.
“700 Sundays” is a film adaptation of the Tony Award winning play by the same name. In “700 Sundays,” legendary comedian and actor Billy Crystal tells the stories of his youth, growing up in the jazz world of Manhattan, his teenage years and finally adulthood. The film is a funny and poignant exploration of family and fate, loving and loss.
The Indian Hills Film Festival is produced annually by the Department of Performing and Visual Arts. The theme for this year’s festival is “Theater Influencing Film.” The Tony Award winning musical, “Jersey Boys,” will be shown on Feb. 10, 2015.
