Changes Coming to FAA Membership Exhibit

The Fairfield Art Association announced a new exhibit format plus a change in its showcasing of artworks that have been exclusively canvas-based. The switch comes just before the organization’s 2022 annual Membership Exhibit.

The Fairfield Art Association says artists can now submit their work in any medium which means jewelers, sculptors, photographers, potters, and those working in mixed media or drawing are invited to participate.

Another shift is that artists are now allowed to present up to three entries this year but all of the pieces must be new. Wall hangings can be any size up to 24 inches wide or tall and be ready to hang.

The deadline to submit new artwork is January 31st. The pieces can be turned into the FAA studio in the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center. There is no entry fee, however, an artist must be a member of the Fairfield Art Association to participate.

Entry forms will be available in the FAA studio and anyone with questions is encouraged to contact

The exhibit will be open to the public on February 4th.
